Co-op city's annual Memorial Day ceremony hosted by the Veterans Memorial Council of Co-op City is set for Sunday, May 27th, at the Harley Moseley Veterans Memorial Park on Bartow Avenue, adjacent to the shopping center.

The annual commemoration features participation by all of Co-op City's major veterans organizations, including American Legion Post 1871, American Legion Auxiliary 1871, Vietnam Veterans, the Jewish War Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Marc Bruh, founder of From the Warfront to the Homefront, an organization advocating for the needs of returning war veterans, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

All of Co-op City's elected representatives have been invited to participate. The program is sponsored by Riverbay Corporation, Emigrant Savings Bank, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Compare Foods, Con Edison, N.S.A. Stores, Section 5 Pizza, Panera Bread and McDonalds.
