NAACP, Coop City Branch #2210, will be hosting their 2nd Annual Community Service Awards Dance on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

N.A.A.C.P (National Association For The Advancement of Colored People) will be honoring those unsung heroes who make a difference in the Co-op City community. The honorees are:

• Kiara Santos, Youth Volunteer


• Kenneth Hunter, Kenny's Barber Shop


• Lt. Shelda Williams, CCPD Supervisor Training Instructor


• Alex Perez, Food Universe Stores


• Joyce E. Wilson, NAACP Member and Community Volunteer

The event will be held at the Einstein Community Center, room 45, from 9 am - 2 pm, featuring DJ Woody.

Tickets are $35
