Apply to become a Riverbay Co-op City Peace Officer with the Riverbay Co-op City Department Of Public Safety Department.

The starting salary for Co-op City peace officers is approximately $40,000/yr, including paid pension and a liberal benefits package.

To apply for this job position, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must qualify for high level security and character clearance
• You must be in good physical condition
• Not be convicted of any crime
• At least 21 years old
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid New York State driver's license (no restrictions or serious traffic violations within the past 5 years
• U.S. Citizen
• You must reside in New York City within the 5 boroughs

(NOTE: The address you provide on your application MUST be the address on your NYS Drivers License)

All applicants will be required to pass:
Written Examination
Physical Agility Test
Panel Interview
Psychological Examination
Complete Medical Examination including Drug Screening

Previous applicants for this position will be required to re-file.
