Coop City Job Ref #: 17-01, Maintenance Utility Person (Riverbay Coop City Maintenance Department)

This Co-op City Maintenance Utility Person position pays $17.82 per hour and is a full time, union job.

Job Description:
Responsible for general maintenance duties throughout Co-op City which includes a wide range of duties to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be exceedingly well organized and flexible.

Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Successful candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance.

Candidate should have working knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses buildings or other structures.

Valid Driver License (NY, NJ, CT or PA) required at time of appointment.

Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to performing maintenance repairs.

Must be available for emergency work.

Days and Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Testing Requirements:
Drug Screening Test
