Male wanted for lewd behavior near Co-op City laundry rooms

Coop City Public Safety department and NYPD are looking for a suspect wanted for exhibiting lewd behavior in and around basement laundry rooms in Co-op City over the past several days.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5 feet, nine inches tall, with short black hair and last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers. He appears to be in his late teens or early 20's.

He has been seen either staring inside laundry room windows at senior or older females or sitting down next to them in the laundry rooms and then engaging in indecent, lewd behavior.

Public Safety and the NYPD are asking for the help of Coop City residents in finding and arresting this individual.

If you see anyone loitering or acting inappropriately in or near the laundry rooms matching the above description, please call 911 and/or Coop City Public Safety at 718-617-3050.
