Saks Fifth Avenue Signs Deal To Bring Store To Bay Plaza.
Opening slated for early 2017.

Commercial Observer reported this week that Saks Fifth Avenue has signed a deal with Prestige Properties & Development to bring its first store to the Bronx with the opening of a Saks Off 5th scheduled for early 2017.

The 10 year lease, which was signed in August 2016, was recorded with the city this week.

According to Jerry Welkis of Welco Realty, the company that presented Prestige on the deal, the discount store will occupy 25,000 square feet at ground level and will be next to K-mart in the Bay Plaza Shopping Mall.

The deal was confirmed by Brian Katz & Associates who represented Saks.
