Co-op City Job Ref #: 16-48, Porter (Coop City Parking and Storage Department)

Coop City Parking and Storage Department is hiring a porter. The pay is $17.16/hr.

This job is open to all qualified applicants.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include cleaning all assigned internal and external areas of Co-op City's Parking facilities. Some painting will be required. Seasonal duties also include snow removal and pressure washing of assigned areas.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Working knowledge of janitorial equipment, tools and material.

Applicant must have ability to walk for long periods of time, twist, kneel, push, stoop, work in inclement weather as well as lift and carry up to 80 pounds.

Must be available for emergency work

Bi-lingual is a plus.

Days and Hours:
Flexible Schedule

FLSA:
Non-Exempt

Union/Non Union:
32BJ Union

Testing Requirements:
Drug Screening Test

Background Check.
