A new Co-op City job position has opened up.

Riverbay Corporation is hiring a Co-op City Parking Facilities Porter, Job Reference # 13-12

Candidate will perform numerous cleaning and restoration duties such as washing, mopping, waxing, buffing and stripping of VCT and terrazzo floors. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned internal and external areas of the community's Parking Facilities, including snow removal. Respond to emergencies throughout Co-Op City as necessary. Days and Hours will vary.

Must be able to work outside in inclement weather. Applicant must possess effective written/oral communication and good interpersonal skills. Ability to walk for long periods, twist, kneel, push, stoop, work in inclement weather and carry heavy equipment (approx. 100 lbs.). Open to 32BJ Union Members only April 12, 2013 - April 18, 2013.

This Co-op City / Riverbay job postion will open to all outside applicants April 19 - April 26, 2013

Request for transfer/promotion must be received by the Employee Services department by April 19, 2013. Employees who are promoted will receive the current union scale for respective union positions, or applicable rate increase for non-union positions.
