Coop City Job Ref #: 17-03, Restoration Utility Person (Riverbay Coop City Restoration Department)

This Co-op City Restoration Utility Person position pays $17.82 per hour and is a full time, union job.

Job Description:
Responsible for installation of structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, trim or hardware using carpenter's hand or power tools. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools or power tools.

Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Successful candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance.

Candidate should have working knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses buildings or other structures.

Valid Driver License (NY, NJ, CT or PA) required at time of appointment.

Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to performing maintenance repairs.

Must be available for emergency work.

Days and Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Testing Requirements:
Drug Screening Test
